South Central Railway Medical Department of Hyderabad Division Recruitment-Staff Nurse

South Central Railway was formed on 02.10.1966. Hyderabad Division came into existence on 17th February 1978 as a separate Division, bifurcating the erstwhile Secunderabad Division into BG and MG Divisions.Further, w.e.f. 1st April 2003, Nanded Division was carved out of Hyderabad Division. Since then, new lines of Gadwal- Raichur section w.e.f 12.10.2013&Devarkadra – Jaklair section w.e.f. 27-10-2016, have been included in the division to bring it to the present state. Further new lines of Raichur-Makthal section, MOB-Gajwel section have been commissioned. Secunderabad Division was split into two Divisions viz. Secunderabad and Hyderabad on 17.02.1978. Following re-organisation of zones and Divisions with effect from 01.04.2003, two new Divisions viz., Guntur and Nanded were operationalised duly transferring Hubli Division to newly formed South Western Railway. Presently S.C. Railway has 6 Divisions, viz,Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded. South Central Railway predominantly serves the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra and to a limited extent, portions of Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Madhya Pradesh states.In view of extraordinary circumstances arising on account of Second wave of COVID 19 Pandemic, in order to provide effective treatment to COVID-19 infected patients at various facilities spread over Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway and for the purposes of testing, vaccination and running Covid Care Centres, it is proposed to fill the following posts on contract basis, for a period of 6 months initially (for Doctors) & 3 months initially (for other para medical staff), by way of conducting On-line interview for the candidates, who fulfill the qualification, experience and other terms and conditions to be engaged as full time medical staff on contractual basis in Medical Department of Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway.

Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed. 3 years course in General Nursing and midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. OR B.SC(Nursing)
Experience: In view of the Health Emergency due to COVID-19, it is desirable that candidates shall have previous working experience in any reputed hospital in their relevant filed. Previous service rendered on Indian Railways (including on contract) may also be indicated. (copy of past experience to be invariably attached – Railway/Non Railway)
Salary
Rs.44,900/- (other allowances as admissible) (Level-7 of VII CPC)
Place of working
The services are proposed to be utilized at the Covid Care Centre/RPF Barracks/Moula Ali and vaccination centers at Health Units HU/KCG (Kacheguda), HU/MLY (Moula-ali), HU/MBNR (Mahaboobnagar), HU/NZB (Nizamabad) and HU/KRNT (Kurnool Town). Further candidates may note that their services are liable to be utilized at any of the Health Units under the Jurisdiction of Hyderabad Division and place of working can be changed during the contract period. They are required to work in shifts, if necessary.
