The DSSC is a joint services institution. It functions in accordance with the directives issued by the Chiefs of Staff Committee. The Commandant is responsible to the Chiefs of Staff Committee through the Chairman, Joint Training Committee. The aim of the Staff Course is to train selected officers of the three Services in command and staff functions in peace and war in their own service, inter-service and joint service environment, and to provide related general education to enable them to perform effectively in command and staff appointments..Defence Services Staff College, Wellington invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Lower Division Clerk, Civilian Motor Driver(Ordinary Grade),Multi Tasking Staff(Office and Training). Qualification
Lower Division Clerk
12th class passed or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
Typing Test : English 35 wpm or Hindi 30 wpm on computer.
Civilian Motor Driver
10th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Civil Driving Licence for driving both Light and Heavy Vehicle.
Two Years experience of driving such vehicles.
Multi Tasking Staff
10th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit
Lower Division Clerk 18-27 years
Civilian Motor Driver 18-27 years
Multi Tasking Staff 18-25 years
